Nordic Hamstring Curl

Why This Exercise
A clinically proven life insurance policy for your legs. The exercise builds superior eccentric braking strength, literally installing shock absorbers in your hamstrings that can handle the extreme forces when extending your leg during a max sprint step.
Coaching Cues
- Slide your heels securely under a heavy sofa or bed frame to anchor your feet, or use another sturdy object that prevents your heels and feet from lifting off the ground.
- Use a pillow under your knees for padding.
- Your body should be a straight line from knees to shoulders. Squeeze your glutes hard and fall forward slowly and with control, like a falling tree trunk. Do not bend at the hips.
